Breena Brockmann is a PhD student in Rhetorical Studies. She earned her B.A. in Communication at Ripon College where she double majored in Politics and Government and minored in National Security Studies. Breena's research interests include the discourse of women in politics and National Security rhetoric.
Breena will present her work on Emmeline Pankhurst's "Freedom or Death" exploring how a militant British suffragette justified militant tactics to the non-militant American women's suffrage movement, at this year's NCA Convention.
