Lauren Raquel Cojulun (she/her/hers) is a second-year graduate student at the University of Georgia working towards her M.A. in Communication, with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Health Communication. She has her B.A. in Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Communication for California State University Channel Islands. Along with pursuing her graduate degree, Lauren has served as a teaching assistant for the large lecture Introduction to Interpersonal Communication course (COMM 1500) for two semesters and is currently serving her second semester as an instructor of record for her stand-alone Introduction to Interpersonal Communication course (COMM 1500). Lauren’s passion lies in teaching undergraduate students and helping them learn about the importance of communication in their everyday lives. Lauren also works alongside Dr. Jiaying Liu on research funded through a National Institute of Health (NIH) K01 award which utilizes communication to inform anti-vaping media campaigns.
