Grafton Tanner is the author of Babbling Corpse: Vaporwave and the Commodification of Ghosts (Zer0 Books, 2016) and The Circle of the Snake: Nostalgia and Utopia in the Age of Big Tech (Zer0 Books, 2020). His work focuses on nostalgia, Big Tech, neoliberalism, and education. He has been featured in venues such as The Nation and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He is currently writing a book on the nostalgia industry for Repeater Books.
