Dr. Hoda Fakhari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Georgia. Broadly, her research examines the influence of health, risk, and science communication on people’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Using mixed-methods, she studies the processes by which complex and uncertain information is communicated to and experienced by different audiences. In tandem, she studies how people engage with such information in complex communication environments.
