Dr. Belinda Stillion Southard visited the University of Louisiana at Monroe this month to deliver a Traveling Scholar Lecture entitled “Crafting Belonging to Nation and World: Women's Rhetorical Practices in Post-Conflict Liberia.” She also visited classes in the Department of Communication at ULM, including both the Communication and Ethics and Communication and Gender classes. The Traveling Scholar Series was developed to promote exposure to communication research and ideas that foster advocacy and social justice.
