Image: The Communication Studies department is proud to recognize our impressive students from yesterday's Undergraduate Awards and Research Presentations Colloquium. Harley Ross McCullar was announced as the winner of the 2022 Olive M. Cone Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding academic achievement with a tuition scholarship. Last year's Cone Scholarship recipient, Mona Abboud, has been awarded the UGA Presidential Award of Excellence, which recognizes the top 1 percent of undergraduates at UGA who excel not only in academics but also in their service to the community and in their leadership both on and off campus. Congratulations also go out to the newly inducted members of the Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, Ciarra Cunningham, Lawton Harris, Halsey Jennings, Madison McManners, and Emily Powers, who have affirmed their commitment to the field of communication, and the study of rhetoric. Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate these amazing students!
