Wondering where a degree in communication studies can take you? Want to meet and network with communication professionals? Perhaps you want to build stronger connections with faculty and students? Have a desire to be a student leader?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are encouraged to consider joining the Undergraduate National Communication Association (UNCA). UNCA is open to any communication studies major or minor. Once accepted into the organization, you will join the ranks of UGA students who are determined to take their futures as communication professionals seriously. UNCA regularly hosts opportunities for meeting other students, getting to know faculty, networking with professionals, gaining access to career paths, and learning about the astonishing breadth of choices available to Communication Studies majors.
UNCA holds meetings on a regular basis and generally begins each semester with an information session. Announcements regarding UNCA meetings are made through the Communication Studies undergraduate listserv.

- Complete the equivalent of 12 semester credit-hours in Communication Studies and currently be enrolled as a student in good standing, as determined by the institution's policies
If you are interested in joining, please fill out the application form (download here). Note that when you join Lambda Pi Eta, you also become a UNCA member. Forms should be submitted to the Academic Advisor, 615 Caldwell Hall.
