The Georgia Debate Union qualified two teams to the 68th National Debate Tournament this year.  This marks the twenty-fifth straight year the University of Georgia has qualified teams to the national championship tournament.   The qualifiers this year are the teams of Shyam Shanker (senior) and Will Caplan (sophomore) and Maggie Davis (junior) and Robert Galerstein (sophomore).  More about the accomplishment can be read here. The Georgia Debate Union's season began this past weekend at Georgia State University.
