The renaissance of downtown Athens, Georgia has been featured in the New York Times.   Always a wonderful place, the downtown area has recently experienced a cultural, financial, and social revival.  It's no longer just a college town with great music - it's got a little bit of everything. The NDT sweepstakes rankings were recently released and the Georgia Debate Union finished in the Top 20 schools from around the country.   Thanks in part to tremendous year-long success - at both the varsity and junior varsity levels - the Georgia Debate Union was able to improve its overall ranking and accumulate 75 more sweepstakes points than the prior year.   The result is a testament to the hard work of both the debaters and the…
